BUILDING SERVICES

A third generation family run building contractors, JW Cannon offers an extensive range of building services, from complete new house construction through to structural alterations to your home, such as building an extension, to high quality property maintenance.

ELECTRICAL

In England and Wales you are now required by law to use a qualified electrician to carry out most electrical work in the home and it is recommended that all properties have thorough electrical checks every 10 years. The policy aims to decrease the number of accidental deaths and injuries which occur due to DIY and amateur repairs, as well as faulty appliances.

PLUMBING / HEATING

J W Cannon has an experienced team of fully qualified central heating engineers able to provide customers with a full installation service for new boilers, central heating systems, bathroom refurbishments/installations and new kitchens.

PAINTING / DECORATING

JW Cannon can provide all your painting and decorating needs. We have a team of over twelve decorators who are experienced at working both inside and outside people’s property, offering expert advice when necessary and ensuring a high standard is achieved.

BESPOKE JOINERY

JW Cannon & Co Ltd understands that not everything can be bought in the shops, particularly when your house has unique design features or period character which you want to keep. We therefore have a highly skilled group of joiners based on site who can produce any timber products you need.

STRUCTURAL REPAIRS

As well as providing traditional structural support, JW Cannon & Co Ltd has specialists in masonry reinforcement who can provide a stress free, undisruptive and cost effective method of masonry stabilisation. This includes crack stitching, lintel repairs, over-beaming, expansion joints, lateral restraints and remedial wall ties.

CERAMIC TILING

All types of wall and floor tiling carried out to the highest standards. Our tilers can work using ceramic, porcelain, mosaic and travertine as required by our customers. We are able to source and supply marble and granite from our specialist suppliers and arrange for installation , including all vanity tops, kitchen work surfaces and bath surrounds.

J.W.Cannon’s dedicated Office Refurbishment team specialise in turning all kinds of spaces into stylish, functional and desirable offices for businesses of all sizes and types.

SCHOOLS

Over the past 50 years JWC Cannon & Co have built up an enviable reputation working in schools and clubs. We have carried out basic operations such as external redecorations, specialist window replacement, gutter and roof maintenance and renewal, re pointing, built new playgrounds and installed drainage.

SPORTS CLUBS

One of our main customers is the Roehampton Club which is  a high end South London sports and recreation Club . Works here have involved building the only squash court in the country that has a sliding wall to enable the same court to be used for doubles, singles and commonwealth squash matches.
