JW Cannon carried out more than £1.2million worth of work and property improvements over the summer.
Within one tight, eight week window, the JW Cannon team completed a number of major schools projects. The work, at the various schools, involved everything from the formation of a new staff room, to re-tarmacking tennis courts, as well external structural repairs and redecoration.
At one local school the refurbishment involved the entrance, reception area, medical room and the kitchen.
In addition, between late June and the end of August, the team refurbished the communal areas of a private club in London.
Luxury Home Refurbishment
Much of JW Cannon’s work is for returning clients, or as a result of referrals. A prime example is a luxury home refurbishment, pictured here, one of three major projects started in September and due for completion by Christmas.
The property owner was referred to JW Cannon by a firm of architects and surveyors the firm has worked with before.
The house is now undergoing a full renovation, with the formation in the roof space of new bedrooms and bathrooms featuring quality sanitary ware, as well as a substantial re-configuration of the ground floor layout.
To complete what will be an outstanding luxury home, we are installing bi-fold patio doors and hardwood windows, custom-made in the JW Cannon joinery workshop.
The Roehampton Club
At The Roehampton Club on the edge of Richmond Park, the firm is carrying out a scheme of improvements to the club’s extensive property and grounds.
As part of the work on the club’s golf course, boundary, tennis courts, and main entrance, JW Cannon engineers also designed a new, high-spec retaining boundary wall (pictured).
A major refurbishment and extension of a veterinary hospital in Carshalton (pictured) is underway. Once completed, the practice team will have a modern, state-of-the art facility in which to treat their animal patients.
This project, which is due to finish by Christmas, involves the formation of new operating theatres, a laboratory and an x-ray room, plus the creation of a new waiting area with purpose-made reception desks, shelving and display units.
New flooring is being laid throughout, suspended ceilings installed and full internal and external redecoration carried out. The hospital IT system is being completely upgraded, the building electrics renewed, and a new air conditioning installed.
Many clients have been so happy with the work undertaken by JW Cannon, they have already asked for the team to return to carry out additional works next year.
