JW Cannon’s long history of quality service has been recognised after the company was selected by John Lewis to become one of their Home Solutions specialists.
The retail giants launched their new home maintenance service at the end of last year, hand-picking an army of builders, plumbers, electricians and decorators to receive the John Lewis seal of approval.
After a rigorous interview process, JW Cannon, who are celebrating their 70th anniversary, were selected to be part of the Home Solutions team last month.
And the Carshalton-based firm have already noticed a huge impact on the amount of business coming their way – with calls flooding in for new jobs.
Director Clive Bowden said: “We’re delighted to be working with a company with such a track record and reputation for quality.
“Our company motto is ‘Generating quality for generations’ and this link up with John Lewis proves that we deliver exactly what we say.
“The recognition is already making a major difference. We have doubled the amount of enquiries we received within just one month.”
March was a particularly successful month for JW Cannon with the company also landing a major contract to refit and refurbish Campendown House in Wallington.
The three-storey block of flats, on Hawthorn Road, provides accommodation for those in need of temporary housing.
